My name is Lauren Javins. I am a recent  graduate from Georgetown University with an M.A. in Conflict Resolution and Certificate in Diplomacy.

I'm a Foreign Policy wonk, aspiring mediator and advocate for participatory and inclusive processes for international development, peace negotiations and governance initiatives.

I am looking to engage in the Fringe Diplomacy space, build a network of peacebuilders and utilize my conflict resolution skills to bridge the governance, peace and development nexus.

I believe that peace comes not just from within, but from people who are fed-up with the status quo. This blog is an affirmation of my passion to make  the impossible, possible. The views herein are my own.
